Cosmetic Specialists

Sheila Babb, CMA (AAMA)

Sheila has been a Cosmetic Medical Assistant at Dermatology Center of Atlanta for over 11 years. She received her Associate Degree in Allied Health at Guilford Community Technical College in Greensboro, NC and she is a Certified Medical Assistant recognized by the American Association of Medical Assistants.

Sheila specialized in dermatology and the treatment of skin conditions before becoming our expert on skin care analysis. She performs medical grade chemical peels, microdermabrasion with dermal infusion, acne facials and collagen building light therapy. Sheila’s experience and knowledge relating to skin care, as well as her genuine interest, makes her our premiere complexion consultant. She performs skin analysis using the VISIA Imaging System to make recommendations on your skin care procedures and customized at-home regimens.

Renee Cooper, RN

Renee is our Laser Nurse. Before joining Dermatology Center of Atlanta in 2009, she specialized in multiple laser therapies in a dermatology office environment for over 7 years. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from East Tennessee State University where she majored in nursing and went on to be a labor & delivery nurse at Northside Hospital.

Renee performs photorejuvenation, non-ablative facial rejuvenation, laser hair removal, photodynamic therapy, rosacea laser therapy and intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments. She educates our patients about skin rejuvenation and how laser therapy can reverse sun damage to improve skin pigment & texture to promote a more youthful appearance. Renee will be happy to answer all your questions about laser rejuvenation and guide you through sessions chosen explicitly for your skin condition.

Jennifer Taylor, Medical Aesthetician

Jennifer is a Licensed Aesthetician and has been working with dermatologists for the past 10 years. She completed her aesthetic training at the International School of Skin & Nail Care in Atlanta. Because of Jen’s experience working with dermatologists, she understands the science behind advanced skin care maintenance. She performs medical grade chemical peels, dermal infusion microdermabrasion and acne facials. She will gladly help with your photodynamic therapy (PDT) for skin rejuvenation, as well as medical conditions such as pre-cancerous lesions.
